Carol Bove’s work is about memory, which is one of the aspects of assemblage that each of us responds to in our own way. When you take objects out of context and put them together, you are hoping to elicit new interpretations of previous memories and stories.

The piece is very large and is categorized as Installation art. Other than scale and an interaction with the architecture an installation is very much an assemblage.
