recycle - dissassemble - reassemble
Assemblage is a great art form for people who just cannot throw anything away. Some call us packrats; I prefer to be considered a recycler. Whatever the thing was used for initially, it no longer can function that way. After I’m done it is used for something else. Often the something else relates to its shape or color in my more abstract works. In other works the objects retain some identity but are seen in a new context.
